Harvey Alford Z”L

Harvey Alford began the practice of law in 1979 and was a founding partner of Alford & Bertrand (1979 - 2015) and a founding partner of Alford Legal Group, LLC (2015).

His practice was focused in the following areas: Personal Injury and Civil Litigation; Business and Corporate Law; Bankruptcy Law; Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant law.

Prior to his admission to the Massachusetts Bar, Attorney Harvey Alford was the Director of Administration for a non-profit elder housing complex. He also established several successful companies, which led to his expertise in the business world.

Harvey Alford was the recipient of numerous community and civic awards for his work with the Caribbean community in the Greater Boston Area which included the establishment of a college scholarship program. He served on the Board of Directors of both corporate and non-profit entities.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College and Summa Cum Laude from New England School of Law where he served as editor of the Law Review.

Attorney Harvey Alford retired from the active practice of law in 2020.
